The Interim Federal Health Program

At Signature health, we provide care to individuals covered under IFHP, which is the “interim federal health program”. In Canada, it provides limited health care benefits to refugee claimants; protected persons, including resettled refugees, and certain other groups.

If you or a family member are a newly-arrived refugee and do not have IFHP coverage, you can check your eligibility here, and apply for coverage here.

If you have questions about IFHP coverage, coordination of benefits, and any other concerns about access to health care, our knowledgeable administrative team would be happy to assist you.
